Pros

Enjoyable position being on campus helping professors. Perfect for lifelong learner as it is always something new. Flexible with good pay.

Cons

Poor management and communication. Always changing policies without clear communication. Sales reps are responsible for everything despite the job descriptions of co-workers which are not held accountable for their duties. Burn out is possible early. Very difficult for someone coming from outside publishing as training is poor and you are expected to know anyway.

Organized team, flexible workflow, good beginner publishing experience

Cons

Got this job a month before the pandemic and the transition to remote was easy and organized. My contracted role was extended serveral times and the team was very helpful as references for future work.
