Pros

work indoors all year round

Cons

Lack of training. Low bonus structure. Unqualified managers. Cherry picking on who gets promoted or move to another department without increase in pay or fair opportunityfor the rest. Unrealistic expectations on Goals while being train on other positions. Management treats you like nothing. I live 5 minutes away and still get punished for arriving to work early. I have reported this company to the BBB aswell as other employees and already job hunting. Not worth the waste of time. There is so much talent in that center in Madison yet site director would rather play favorites. I have perfect attendance yet I see everyone missing work and no consequences. Left and right I see people in sweat pants and gym shorts against dress code but I guess if you are friend with Management it doesn't matter. Avoid at all vost if you can. They will lie to you about overtime left and right.

Pros

Money. And that's it. You have to wait months for commissions since you aren't paid until after the jobs are installed which is often 6 months later.

Cons

You make money but they give you ZERO transparency on what expenses are built into a job. They hope that since it's a big check, you will just be happy and won't care they skim hundreds of dollars off of each job. Expect 12-14 hour days with 3 days off every two weeks. You will probably put 50k miles on your car each year, and they are happy to send you 2 hours away. You will get a ton of no-shows and last-minute, same day appointments that will make you scream. They have no problem sending you all over, burning your own gas and destroying your car but you only get a mileage reimbursement if you hit certain closing percentages. I was a high producer and made over $300k/yr but still only earned my mileage reimbursement like 6 or 7 times. The dispatch department is PURE EVIL and they made me question all of my life decisions. Mad City is such a bad place to work, that I actually walked away from $300k/yr with no job lined up because I was going to end up in a mental hospital if I didn't.
