Pros

There are really none, the promises during training are nothing to reality and leads are horrible and they send you to homes with or without appointments.

Cons

The promises during training are nothing to reality and leads are horrible and they send you to homes with or without appointments. You don’t get commission sheets to sign off on so you don’t know what you are being paid out on when you receive commission. Commission is paid out 30+ days after install which is roughly 8-12 weeks after sale. YOU will drive 3-4 hours a day regularly, you work so much that you cannot maintain a social life, home life, schedule doctor appointments, etc. Day starts at 9 and you wont get home until after 9. Training classes are huge and they work you to death and want you to sell high and ‘split’ commission with the company but when you quit they pay you out pennies on the dollar…. Promises or $400,000 + are a few in the bunch that they choose to feed leads to, otherwise you will be constantly yelled at. They want you to stay in each home until you are kicked out and are very pressure sales driven

Pros

Money. And that's it. You have to wait months for commissions since you aren't paid until after the jobs are installed which is often 6 months later.

Cons

You make money but they give you ZERO transparency on what expenses are built into a job. They hope that since it's a big check, you will just be happy and won't care they skim hundreds of dollars off of each job. Expect 12-14 hour days with 3 days off every two weeks. You will probably put 50k miles on your car each year, and they are happy to send you 2 hours away. You will get a ton of no-shows and last-minute, same day appointments that will make you scream. They have no problem sending you all over, burning your own gas and destroying your car but you only get a mileage reimbursement if you hit certain closing percentages. I was a high producer and made over $300k/yr but still only earned my mileage reimbursement like 6 or 7 times. The dispatch department is PURE EVIL and they made me question all of my life decisions. Mad City is such a bad place to work, that I actually walked away from $300k/yr with no job lined up because I was going to end up in a mental hospital if I didn't.
