Pros

They claim to pay a lot of money. I've been with the company for 2.5 months and havent seen it

Cons

It starts during training withe the CONSTANT threats and belittlement. Then is carries on throughout employment. I started out #1 out of the gate, but the constant threats and degrading remarks from everyone from dispatch to the management (dave and ben). The first big sale i made i called ben to ask a question and said "hey, hope i'm not bothering you" his reply was "you are, what do you want". I was told to ask questions, but the couple times i did "can we go over pricing" they looked at me like i had two heads and asked "are you serious". EVERY DAY throughout the myriad of chats you are required to participate in, the whole group gets threatened with being fired. At least 50% of the calls to dispatch (required EVERY house you visit), they are complete .... not nice or helpful. Pretty much every employee that is not a salesman get to and do bully the salesmen, because they know the sales people cant argue back or "you'll be fired". The claim to make more money is NOT WORTH the belittlement or stress. There is much better options for salesmen where you are treated like human beings. Also, PA is a two party consent recording state. So recording customers is absolutely illegal. But all salesman are forced to record every conversation with every customer, without them knowing (or youll be fired!). I called and asked about this and was told "just do it and we'll slip something in the agreement to the meeting about it, eventually" ALSO, they send out mass emails to all employees to do reviews on glassdoor, and they'll "win a prize". You can guess how many honest reviews there are or this company Not a great company to work for

Pros

Money. And that's it. You have to wait months for commissions since you aren't paid until after the jobs are installed which is often 6 months later.

Cons

You make money but they give you ZERO transparency on what expenses are built into a job. They hope that since it's a big check, you will just be happy and won't care they skim hundreds of dollars off of each job. Expect 12-14 hour days with 3 days off every two weeks. You will probably put 50k miles on your car each year, and they are happy to send you 2 hours away. You will get a ton of no-shows and last-minute, same day appointments that will make you scream. They have no problem sending you all over, burning your own gas and destroying your car but you only get a mileage reimbursement if you hit certain closing percentages. I was a high producer and made over $300k/yr but still only earned my mileage reimbursement like 6 or 7 times. The dispatch department is PURE EVIL and they made me question all of my life decisions. Mad City is such a bad place to work, that I actually walked away from $300k/yr with no job lined up because I was going to end up in a mental hospital if I didn't.
