Pros

Made some really cool friends, who cared and helped you with your work. Happy I'm not working here anymore.

Cons

Often left to swim on your own, higher up individuals were too busy to lend a hand. Often times the work load was huge and there was no experience from management to help and guide you. If there was they were to busy to help and passed you off to the next person who was not qualified to help. No honour, integrity, or honesty from Magellan when dealing with customers and from higher up individuals meaning directors, and upper management. NO JOB SECURITY! unless you are a director or work in HR, you are expendable. I felt lied too during my interview process asking about job security as they made it sound like a great place to work, and there was no chance of job loss unless you didn't do your work. Turned out the company had a terrible financial year, and employees were laid off... sadly I bet the big wigs still got there Christmas bonuses... Toxic work environment, and lots of swearing from upper management and directors as they lack professionalism in the work place.

Pros

I worked for 2 years as a Quality Control Inspector in the Mechanical Processing Quality Control Department. Both my coworkers and management left me with very good memories – people with culture, knowledge, and commitment. The team creates a great atmosphere, and it’s really a place you want to work at – at least until management gets involved… The Mechanical Processing Department is actually “held together” only by the rank-and-file employees. It is managed by Mr. Stanisław – a person completely out of touch with today’s standards. Lack of competence, outdated work methods, and an approach based on intimidation – especially towards women – are his everyday reality. Additionally, there are private “side jobs” done on the second shift when no one is watching – for example, building a wooden chicken coop using company materials and equipment, and then transporting the finished structure home in a company vehicle. These things happened openly. I have proof. Opportunities for development? Very limited. Promotions and raises? Practically unavailable, regardless of your experience, skills, or contribution to the company. What matters is only whether you “fit into the Excel spreadsheet” and if the manager thinks you fit the table. If you openly say something is wrong or – worse – threaten to take the issue to higher management, you are immediately considered a threat and pushed out. In summary: If you have no ambitions, have a mortgage, a family to support, thick skin, and treat stability at a low wage as the most important thing – you will manage
