Pros
The people here are smart. Really smart. At the same time, 99% are down to earth. It is easy to get excited about what we are doing as a company. You will learn. A lot. You are given what you need to succeed. Everyone is expected to contribute. The company is set to do some transformational things, and every person contributes to that. If you see a gap that needs filling, you can fill it. I can honestly say that I look forward to going to work and working with my colleagues. Awesome benefits
Cons
A very small number of employees are disillusioned (because they've been here relatively long) and express that as pessimism about everything. There are people that have been around since the "R&D days" that are now having to work with people focused on commercializing, and there can be some tension between the two. The company is growing - "quickly" is an understatement. This means that there is limited physical room to work, but that will change with the opening of the new HQ in Plantation. It also means that the organization is faced with organizational growing pains and there are a lot of moving parts which can be disorienting to those expecting a static, large company structure. It's a pre-product startup, and compensation sort of reflects that even through the company has raised a TON of money.
