Pros
This is coming from a software engineer who has been at the company for less than 6 months: - Existing projects are under heavy development with lots of opportunities to contribute to. - New projects under works, with great opportunities to contribute to. - Friendly teammates, hard working people. - Company culture is relaxed, hard working, and practical, although management could hold people to a higher standard in terms of quality and recovering from technical debt. - Within the company, lots of things to participate in that would never be possible at another company.
Cons
- HQ is in Florida, which has its pluses and minuses, although I'd prefer somewhere with a more developed tech scene. Especially for young people establishing themselves in the tech industry, there is a lot to be desired. And Fort Lauderdale (close to the office, which is in Plantation, a suburban area) is not as cheap as you'd think.
