      Open Door policy, Job Security, Opportunity to contribute Knowledge Skill and Job Experience in Continuous Improvement program and Environmental Health and Safety

      Magna Plants closers in year 2009 one after another shook our retirement future many many years before actual retirement. Transfer of employees to other companies was based upon Buddy system not the Qualification, Knowledge, Skill, Contribution to Magna and Experience or left with worse unwanted choices.

      Pros

      Competitive pay and benefits were pretty good.

      Cons

      They matched GM's schedule and daily numbers which is fine if you're willing to work but it's a teamwork environment and always someone either not pulling their weight or something breaking down or I.T. issues makes 8hr days 10-12hr days OR car sells slow and you barely get 4-6hrs daily. There's no normal/smooth days or family life.
