Pros

There’s nothing to put here, why lie?

Cons

Where to start? Micromanagement at its finest. Employees are constantly being watched like hawks on the floor. If you are seen talking for more than 45 seconds to another employee you will be talked to about it. They claim it halts production, but the truth is they want you drive you into the ground and burn you out. Management does not listen to a single word out of the employees mouth. Suggestions are just to make them feel more comfortable they never take them into consideration. Every decision made is to benefit the owners. They claim employee benefit but it’s really all about how much money they can stuff in their pockets. Raises given out do not even keep up with inflation it’s a joke. They steal your time off for snow days that they decide if we will be open or closed. They make the people who have maximum time off use their time off for end of year shut down. Wouldn’t you expect a company to take care of people that have been with them for 5+ years? The culture here stinks. People are miserable and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why. Maybe give back our time off? Maybe give a decent raise? Maybe do something other than a stupid pizza or hoagie party. We can afford our own lunch on the peanuts you pay. Maybe give us more money. Maybe then you won’t have to wonder what the culture problem is at the company that was given to you.

Pros

The work is genuinely impactful, which makes the day-to-day feel meaningful. Strong teammates and a welcoming culture. People are friendly, helpful, and management is approachable and listens. Competitive pay/benefits and a modern, air-conditioned, well-lit facility that’s kept clean. Continuous investment in tooling and equipment with a culture of ongoing improvement. PTO is solid.

Cons

Frequent painful changes. Stuff breaks with high degree of urgency. Lots of home-grown complex internal software, which has pros and cons; when it breaks it's up to us (and only us) to fix it. Team members can be spread thin at times. Location.
