Employees are underpaid, but management tries to convince you that they are getting paid at market rate. Promises get made to employees that are rarely seen to fruition. Extreme favoritism and lack of follow through from upper management. Constructive criticism is passive aggressively punished - sometimes to the point where it becomes such a toxic environment that the employee has to leave so that he/she can take care of himself/herself.
