Pros

Loved the fact that children could be on insurance policy till 30 years old but only for medical. Medical coverage was good (but expensive). I ABSOLUTELY loved my job but make no mistake...it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with PRO Unlimited. The company merely paid my wages.

Cons

If you don't ask the questions then they tell you absolutely nothing! Was not told there was a 3-year cap to employment and the HR person didn't even have the time straight to begin with. Not informed there would be no pay raise/cost-of-living increase annually. Not informed there would be no pay for Federal holidays. No vacation. No paid time for when the company had a mandated shutdown period. Only 3 days of sick time which was only provided because it is mandated by law or we wouldn't have even provided that. This information is VITAL so a person can figure that into negotiating salary. Medical coverage expensive. PLEASE do yourself a favor & ASK...ASK...ASK & then ask everything all over again to confirm. And get EVERYTHING in writing. I will NOT make the same mistake again. Human Resouces representative did not even do their job at a basic minimum. But shame on me as well. Lessons learned the hard way.

Pros

Ability to work with FAANG company with opportunity for transition to FTE. Very responsive team to any questions.

Cons

Contract work, so role may or may not be renewed depending on company needs. Not really a con, just the nature of the job. Very few PTO days.

Pros

They pay you regularly - that is about it

Cons

They are only interested in their own bottom line and explained nothing to me when I was brought in by their client for a contract but needed to be paid and actually employed via Magnit. They employed me as a W2 and I didn't realize it was an option to go in as a contract 1099 - which would have increase my net significantly, since I have an LLC set up and have been doing taxes as self employed for several years. They didn't let me know that I should be on benefits and sent me no paperwork to enroll. The amount of money they saved from me not collecting benefits is terrible along with what I was paying for healthcare etc. I have to leave the client early because of the issues with Magnit even though they would like me to stay for an additional year.
