Pros
- The people you work with (those that are still here) - Fully Remote Work - Pay is decent
Cons
Don't let any catchy slogan fool you, this place does not care about it's employees, only about the bottom line and appeasing the board. It is sad to see where this company is in comparison to where it used to be. There was a point in time where I was proud to work here, it had a pulse and exciting energy to it. That has slowly gone away year after year and now it is a shell of people riding out a sinking ship. Multiple mass lay off events a year, leaving people that have spent years working here feel like they are meaningless. Those that have to stay are left having to take on double the work as a result. Sales are down, revenue declines every quarter, people are scared for their jobs and the company itself has no identity. It's a carousel at the executive leadership level - multiple CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, COOs in the just the past few years. There's not one person you talk to that isn't applying elsewhere or wanting to get out. It is just a sad state here at Magnit.
