Last minute travel with many adhoc extensions, sometimes keeping you away from home for multiple weeks Unfair and dishonest supervisors who will quickly throw you under the bus for a pat on the back Unsafe practices in the field Inflexible work hours and schedule This is the type of job where you are expected to be working 100% of the time, even if you complete your assigned job duties. You will be pawned off to another department for the day to ensure you don't get a break. Last time I checked, running a computer at full capacity will cause components to heat up and burn out, resulting in an unsustainable system. The same goes for humans working in a business.
