Pros

Great people to work with and a highly competent team. The work environment is flexible and there is quite a bit of opportunity to advance your career. The product that is being developed is technically interesting and being a part of developing a sustainable energy solution is very rewarding.

Cons

As with any startup, the timeline targets can be a little ambitious but that makes for interesting and challenging (rewarding) work.

Pros

Lots of overtime Free snacks

Cons

Technicians are rewarded for working efficiently with additional work assignments. "Senior" technicians do the same work as entry level techs, while getting paid twice as much. Last minute travel with many adhoc extensions, sometimes keeping you away from home for multiple weeks Unfair and dishonest supervisors who will quickly throw you under the bus for a pat on the back Unsafe practices in the field Inflexible work hours and schedule This is the type of job where you are expected to be working 100% of the time, even if you complete your assigned job duties. You will be pawned off to another department for the day to ensure you don't get a break. Last time I checked, running a computer at full capacity will cause components to heat up and burn out, resulting in an unsustainable system. The same goes for humans working in a business.
