This company is a prime example of green-washing. I joined due to promised environmental claims, none of which ended up being true. The environment they cultivates produces the most waste I have ever seen at a company and internal policies restrict what terms we are even allowed to say so we can continue to deceive the public and investors. I can't trust a company that prioritizes optics over actual impact. They consistently overwork employees, with unreasonable expectations and excessive hours. The workload is never manageable, and burnout is inevitable. We are expected to work 50+ hour weeks and be on-call 24/7 even if not included in the job description. And they will call your personal phone on the weekend. The benefits package is laughable—I took a huge pay cut to come here and the insurance options are abysmal. They "increased" PTO to be competitive, but force the use of most of it on set days despite receiving push back from employees. There is also very little diversity and reading the internal hiring practices very clearly explains why that is. They also promise internal promotion, yet hire externally due to the high turnover rate.
