Pros

Work here if you literally have no other options and desperately need a salary

Cons

In May 2015 blur Group issued its fourth revenue warning since the beginning of 2014, which is virtually unheard of in the history of public companies and shows a lack of professionalism from the Board and the Management team. The company’s shares have lost more than 90 per cent of their value over this period too. If this is not enough to make you reconsider taking a job at this company, blur Group is also under scrutiny by a big accounting watchdog over the way it has booked deals - e.g. how it has reported on the money it has made. blur Group and its auditors are dealing with inquiries from the Financial Reporting Council‎, the UK corporate governance regulator, and because of this are delaying releasing their financial results for the year ending December 31 2014. What this all means is that the company is on shaky ground. If you are still considering working for this company then only take a position if you are willing to be bullied, ranted at by a delusional CEO, forced to keep up the sham that the company is 'awesome' and be treated like you were still at school. The company is also in such poor shape that if you expect to be given a budget and/or a team, don't count on that. blur Group has the worst HR I have personally experienced so whatever you are promised at interview will not necessarily come to fruition. Finally, while I was employed at the company 5 employees resigned every month on average, and when the total global staff is only around 50-60 that in itself adds to the awful atmosphere at all 3 offices in London, Dallas and Exeter.

Pros

It is very refreshing that everyone cares about contributing to the company, our customers and our Experts in a positive way. Leadership gives employees the opportunity to stretch their skills and grow in areas of interest. blur Group is a growing company that values the different backgrounds, experience, talents and interests of its employees. There is a great culture of team-work unlike anywhere else I have worked. You get to learn so much about many different areas of business so no day or project is ever the same.

Cons

This is a growing company so processes are always evolving. This can be a positive because it means that process are constantly being evaluated and changed if need be. If you like processes to be black and white and get frustrated by changes to process, this might present a challenge.
