- My salary was not far off market average (that said, some were forced to work hours that worked out as below minimum wage, which is pretty shocking). - surprising level of talent hired in at ground level. - before the downfall, a good springboard into other employment - oddly, the coding team all seemed happy - office in exeter really nice, london one less so but still okay

- atrocious working hours. Job offered as a 9-6 with 'sometimes longer hours'. In reality the CEO would walk up and down the hallway checking to see which departments had left on time and which were staying late. Those leaving on time would be taken for private meetings to be told that they would not have a future at the company if they weren't putting in regular extra hours. Holidays actively discouraged, illness viewed as a 'failure to keep oneself healthy'. - zero benefits. used the term 'start up company' (despite the millions being netted in fundraising and being a business for more than half a decade) to excuse low wages, minimal/non-existent pay increases and brutal, brutal expectations of hours. - Sso very many employees fired for refusing to meet targets that would be increased if there was a change of being hit. People set up to be fired regularly. Real talent left. I saw more than 20 staff quit - most of whom were the original team hired in - within a year. Four CFO's in three years! - awful lies to customers, investors and service providers. Listing fees kept as quiet as possible in the small print to net fast cash in high volume. All figures on the front page of the website absolutely meaningless (which they have now gotten into trouble for). Revenue nowhere near the 'booking value' listed. Customers/investors told special algorithms were matching the database of service providers to clients. Nope. Outright lie. They're picked by staff, and that means that for the most part the same service providers are always picked. - i saw many, many people have breakdowns. full-on mental breakdowns. - even this page is being manipulated - staff are being forced to write positive reviews, as you can see if you scroll down to one of the other 1 star reviews here - overall an astonishing culture of blame and lies - the move to exeter resulted in a mass leaving of talent. they replaced them with exeter locals who, while nice, were nowhere near qualified enough. this happened because no one in london will move to exeter for the salary offered.
