Pros

1. FT benefits are covered 100% 2. The people who are actually CONTENT and HAPPY working for MLBAM make going to work worth it. 3. FT employees receive a Courtesy Pass that allows you to go to a game free of charge (when the ballpark actually accepts them). 4. Location is convenient (easy commute). 5. Dress code is casual (jeans and sneakers are acceptable)

Cons

1. UNHAPPY PEOPLE. It makes going to work much more difficult KNOWING you'll go to work to a department that has nothing positive to say. Only complaint after complaint. You'll go in with a happy spirit and leave miserable by the end of the day. 2. Processes are nonexistent. 3. Workload is very heavy. 4. Work and Personal Life are tough to manage together. 5. No room for growth unless someone is let go or quits.

Pros

Great fast paced job environment. Everyone there truly wants to be there. If you love baseball just a great place to be.

Cons

Management is very poor. Upper management in Production is a very “bro” environment. If you go drinking and play golf and can hang with the “bros” you are taken care of. Not at all great with females or diverse people. Very non diverse and extremely misogynistic environment. People, especially the head person(s) in production, would be suspended or fired in another less dysfunctional company. Also the leaders are really out of touch with what goes on below them. They rely heavily on middle management to run things while they hide from the decisions and responsibilities. I also found the HR dept to be specifically out of touch with the staff, what they do daily, and who is doing the actual work.
