Pros
You have complete control over which 70 hours you will work in your week. You can build lots of contacts for finding a less stressful job with better training and support and have a company truck to go to job interviews. You will spend 30% of your time learning how to do reports for all of upper management all while driving all over your state to not be able to come close to the competition. Makita is like a parent whose child brings home a 98 on a test and says " with a little more work you could've made a 100". You will never catch your breath here. Move on.
Cons
IC reps do EVERYTHING. You will be given a truck, tools, and a list and 1 day of "training". They will hand you a list of 100+ businesses with company names and address only and you will have to get your own contacts for manager, outside sales, purchasers, endusers and the lot. You will not have Dealer or User information and will be expected to organize, track and report on EVERY LITTLE detail without a tech platform to support you.
