Pros

Pay is decent and employees in the Denver office are fun to hang out with. Additionally, you will learn a lot while you are there.

Cons

- Some in management will blatantly ignore you after you text/email them multiple times then try to throw you under the bus when a project goes wrong. - Management always says “work is in the pipelines” but this work more often than not never reaches the newer employees desks. - Management gives awful feedback and will go from “you’re doing a great job!” to “you’re 1 misstep from being fired” in a day. - Management will blatantly lie to your face if it benefits them and no matter what they say to employees, their growth/development is a secondary concern for management. - Almost all of management is solely remote and they almost never visit the office while employees are expected to show up in the office the vast majority of days. - Your mistakes will be judged with impunity and your successes will be recognized seldomly. - A certain person high up in management straight up told us that “You are all replaceable at the end of the day, I won’t lose sleep if you leave for an extra $5,000 somewhere else” - A certain high up person in management once said after an employee was terminated “I want everyone to pay attention to what just happened, because that’s what happens when you f*** with the big dog. - A person high up in management once said “I better not see you being a jerk to people while you’re here, only I have that right”. - Hard work does not equate to success. Even putting in the extra hours won’t guarantee you get promotions if you “aren’t a team player” - “Rewards” in Makse Group are more like golden handcuffs, and have sometimes come attached with documents legally binding you with the company for a certain amount of time by accepting said “rewards”. - Management will often say “we want you to be in front of clients more often” but deny these opportunities and say things like “We don’t want the clients call to be dominated by consultants” - A certain person high in management once said “Please reach out to me for any questions” in a team meeting but when I reached out to them they say “Why are you reaching out to me?” or “Did you talk to someone in the Denver office before asking me?” - Management will sometimes reach out to you right before a deadline needs to be completed and expect you to complete it in that time with minimal context/instruction as to what to do. - Management will say you’re “not an effective communicator” even when you reach out for work to do and they never get back to you about it. - Management makes up new rules on a whim and expects you to adhere to those rules 100% as soon as you hear about them or face consequences.

Pros

Strong commitment to client experience. Excels at giving PMs and project teams the tools and autonomy to drive adoption success. Partners closely with clients on outcome focused strategies that make transitions smooth and impactful. Makse Group invests heavily in people, methodology, templates, and client satisfaction metrics, which directly tie into collaborative teams, rapid career opportunities, and regular recognition. Teams are invested in and empowered to build and influence processes, and methodology - promoting the innovation needed to make every project better. Collaborative culture, strong mentorship, and emphasis on empathy-driven consulting make this an outstanding place to advance in the people side of Workday projects.

Cons

Steadfast focus on client outcomes requires nimbleness, collaboration, and innovative problem solving. If you are looking to bring your skills and experience to work as a team to see the positive outcomes of what you are doing and deliver great work for clients, this is an amazing place to be. If you are looking for a run-of-the-mill consulting gig, this won't be the right team for you.

Pros

It was a job I guess

Cons

Management. They’ll tease you with praise but never provide a material reward. The CEO is a lunatic who lets his emotions drive every decision. He’s fired every person he’s ever hired for the IT team and he runs it himself.
