Pros
Coworkers are amazing and the company tries to encourage fun and bonding, making going to work more that just a job. Free lunch is always delicious, on-site gym encourages and enables you to live a healthier lifestyle, and there are a lot of company sponsored activities year round. Health insurance is also paid for by the company.
Cons
Not a lot of growth. There are opportunities to grow laterally, but not upward. Management is filled with mostly men, and while the company encourages people to speak up, it does not feel like the opinions/ideas are welcome unless you are in a management position. Pay is not great. In the past, this was made up a lot with the benefits, but the pay has been stagnant for about a year and a half and many benefits have been dropped. It seems like the only way to get a raise is by getting a job offer elsewhere. If paid maternity/paternity is important to you, what is offered is pretty low. To get more, you'll need to dip into your paid time off or accept that you'll only get a portion of your pay with short-term disability (which you'll need to pay for when you enroll in the insurance plan).
