Pros

If you are on the right team, your management team will empower you. The company does hire well. A lot of great talent and good-hearted humans. And when I say that the company hires well, they hire good employees... not leadership.

Cons

I hate that I have more cons than I do pros. However, if you are not on the right team - proceed with caution: - If it isn't a round of layoffs that will show you the door, it will be your management team. I will quote from my former director, "If I don't want you on my team, I will find a way for you to not be on it". Sad, but true. - Your coworkers will have your back; however, management... they will send emails with threats showing you your exit strategy if you have issues with anything that they implement (yes, I understand that a lot of what comes from them is from their leadership. My point is, is that good leadership shouldn't be threatening their employees with exit strategies in order to get them to perform any changes). - They will threaten PIPs; then, without any sort of meeting to tell you why you're doing poorly, simply put you on one. Then, expect you to improve without any guidance (or weekly checkins), and then let you go. If you do end up going on one, best to start looking for a new job. - They will add to your already overfilled plate and make it look like giving you these added tasks will make you a "manager" some day. However, it just burns you out. - Don't expect to have any 1:1's with your direct manager. All they do is travel. - Bottom line: proceed with caution, and keep your eyes/ears open. If if it feels weird - it probably is. You shouldn't be scared when your director or manager emails you because you are unsure if there will be some sort of threat in there showing you your "exit strategy". And you shouldn't feel mentally drained every day when you log off.

Pros

Very supportive managers and a fun, highly collaborative team. The department fosters an environment where ideas are openly shared and opportunities for improvement are discussed constructively without toxicity. Truly the best company I’ve worked for so far.

Cons

The interview process was somewhat lengthy, and salary discussions were not entirely consistent.

Pros

It was okay before the favoritism and gender pay gaps

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism. When I found out I was making far less than a male coworker in the same role with less years of experience, they did nothing to rectify the situation. Also, the CEO is far too involved in Product and dictates rather than collaborates
