Pros

They give you ice cream on Friday..like that is enough for slavery.

Cons

-Management calls you stupid when they let you go. Yes I guess I'm stupid, I believe in having a IT team with plenty of documentation, change controls procedure, no service accounts so you know who did what. If I'm stupid and you hired me, what does that make you? Half of your network security devices do not do what the purpose of the device is intended to do. -Your expected to work on your unpaid lunch, no more than 35 minutes or your late. -Their Information Systems team couldn't give me a laptop that worked, well technically it was the directors that wanted me to have a untested fast laptop which crashed blue screen of death every 10-25 minutes, re-image the laptop every week and expect me produce the work of two to three employees. -The company expected me to be expert in things I knew nothing about for example, fix the domain controller, fix the windows print server. My resume does not mention I'm certified in Microsoft Server nor Active Directory yet when I couldn't fix things outside the scope of my job, the directors would give me warning like have it fixed by 4pm then fire you even if you had not caused the issue in the first place.

Pros

Co workers are amazing and are what keep most of us there. Close to my home

Cons

Management and higher ups are unhelpful and do nothing to help with short staffing and nurse and patient safety. They are more worried about lining their pockets than safely staffing the units or paying adequately. They will pay huge sign on bonuses to under qualified nurses and refuse to pay retention bonuses to the rest of the staff left picking up the pieces when they make mistakes or leave as soon as their contract is up. Everything is broken, ceilings are always leaking, toilets backed up and smell of sewage, one of the elevators was out for order for 2+ years while they kept building freestanding ERs.
