      Pros

      I joined Manheim because I liked the people. Folks at Manheim are down to earth, hard working, fun loving, and community focused. Its a fun place to work with good work-life balance and opportunity to grow.

      Cons

      I have little to complain about. My time at Manheim was positive. Sometimes mediocrity is rewarded. Its not a company full of Type A jerks, but that means that things move too slowly sometimes. Its a geographically dispersed company and many initiatives get stalled because of lack of adoption at the auction locations, but good leadership helps overcome that.

      Pros

      Flexible scheduling, and plenty of volunteer time, if you need extra money in your pocket - the ability to use your cell phone - have a lot of freedom without people looking over your back directly. But they're constantly scouring the lot watching. They call it policing the lot

      Cons

      Little room for advancement unless you are young - managers act like they're bi polar smile at you one minute and give you a dirty look the next - GM is very toxic and is a liar. Compensation is only slightly over minimum wage - company makes billions in profit - work outside in every weather condition, whether it's pouring rain and 5° or sunny and 100°
