It's hard to explain what working here was like, but it reminded me of scenes in movies where people are on phones in cubicles shouting over each other to make cold call sales. I was doing recruiting for a large client that was very disliked in all of the areas we recruited. It was high-volume recruiting with quotas to meet. If we did miraculously meet the high quotas, we were pushed to do more. It was never enough, and for meager income.
