Pros
Great co-workers! We've worked together for a long time, so the team dynamics flow smoothly.
Cons
Our technology is so out dated that smaller competitors in our market are running circles around us. Has anyone clicked on our 1990's website recently? Someone in management also made a stupid decision to work exclusively with Monster, so we're losing visibility to 25% of the candidates available on other job boards. One thing is consistent, recruiting decisions are made by people that aren't recruiters, and when those uneducated ideas blow up, it makes us be reactive rather than proactive. Commission reports are rarely processed for us to review, and once we see them, they are riddled with errors. The commission payout formula is convoluted and messy. No acknowledgment or recognition for years of amazing growth and return on your investment. The mentality around here is that no one works hard enough or deserves praise. No raises or performance reviews in years. As a HR company who is an industry expert, our HR department is one of the most poorly run HR departments I've ever encountered.
