Pros
-was hired on as a fully remote role during pandemic (now switch to hybrid which I do not like) and provided equipment such as a laptop, doc, headset and mouse -flexible work schedule since working from home
Cons
-very unprofessional team/leadership, leadership made ageist comments about clients -unwelcoming company culture where you are just a number and not a person -pay is barely a livable wage despite having prior experience and a degree, no commission or bonus -Management never knows what's going on, you get very different answer on how to preform your job depending on who to ask -the culture is very much "this is not my job" -little to no diversity on my assignment -You do not get PTO until after working 1,000 regular hours. The majority of the team is contracted so they will never reach 1,000 hours or it will be right before there contracts ends. Meaning you do not get any paid holidays but have to hear leadership talking about the importance of taking time off around the holidays and spending it with loved ones. You can only take unpaid time off and the majority of people can't afford that. I worked the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas since I didn't have any PTO my first year (I worked almost 2 years until I had any PTO or paid holidays) and there was very clearly no work to be done and no higher ups there since they have PTO.
