Pros
I got to see how $%*&ed up the system is.
Cons
I was a csr working for a state's unemployment line. This job scarred me for life. There was literally a few hours of training on the actual material. I then spent hours making study sheets for myself to learn about unemployment rules (off the clock). I then was thrown into the job where you literally get nonstop phone calls all day. I received calls from mothers who had just given birth, people who had quit their jobs due to harassment, and MANY people who just went into "adjudication" for months (which basically means they go into limbo and don't get money). These examples of people don't qualify for UI (unemployment). The csrs go to leads for help (on a chat program) and can literally wait an hour to get help. This is while you are required to check in with a customer every 2 minutes... I could go on but my blood pressure is spiking thinking about it.
