Pros

I liked the people I worked with directly, and I could tell that there were some teams that were very happy and thriving. Immediate supervisors and managers were helpful. Benefits were okay, not amazing but not terrible. Started off with 15 days vacation per year.

Cons

Big disconnect between leadership and everyone else. It's a typical "you give an inch, they take a mile" corporation that will squeeze out as much as possible from employees. Many jobs were off-shored in my last year, which tanked morale, and made me realize I couldn't depend on a sustainable future with the company. Other turn-offs include: 1) They hired a terrible supervisor who is still with the company, though he should have been fired a long time ago; 2) They made it impossible for employees to receive referral bonuses by hiring everyone on initially as Experis "consultants" before allowing them to become permanent Manpower Group employees. So, I wasn't eligible for a referral bonus because the new hire I referred (we worked on the same team) was technically an employee of a different company (Experis) when she got hired on, even though she was later hired on permanently with Manpower Group. That's the kind of BS you can expect.
