Avoid at all cost - Manager Marcum LLP Employee Review

We are disappointed to see such a negative review from a former associate as Marcum generally has an excellent relationship with many of our former associates through our growing alumni network. Marcum works hard to maintain professionalism in all of our offices, at all associate levels. HR meets regularly with the firm’s associate formed Focus Groups to implement best practices as it pertains to employee engagement and interests. We have made significant efforts to support our associates in maintaining a balanced approach to a career with our Firm. This approach has included the creation of many different types of alternative work arrangements, creating flexibility in working hours through our Core Hours Program and encouraging associates to work remotely when practical. With these initiatives in place, we find our turnover to be lower than industry norms. Marcum values the quality of our work product and our reputation within the professional community at the highest levels. Further, our Quality Control Group has a direct line of communication to our Firm’s Chairman. As clarification, the Quality Control Group does not report to the engagement partners at all. We will continue moving forward in creating a positive work environment for our associates.
