Pros
The only reason I found as "best reason" to work at Maritz was the flexibility I had in my day to day obligations. I had the ability to work from home more often than not, but did put a lot of time into doing things that were not in my job description essentially. However, that said, when things are good at Maritz many people benefit and I could see that, but that was short-sighted on their part. Additionally, their office space and "perks" were nice as well, such as ability to expense a number of things, having more than enough time for personal endeavors when warranted, etc.
Cons
A major downside was the constant changing of the guards. Just when you got to know or understand a leader they moved them again or let them go altogether. And, they are not necessarily the best in the communications area. They don't provide honest information to employees and management does not communicate to frontline staff. Everything is a smoke and mirrors game, nepotism runs high and if you are not part of the "club" in whatever area that is, you are an outsider and can pretty much know your days will be numbered. Politics run high and only those who say what others want to hear are those who still have a job.
