Pros
Maritz treats their employees exceptionally well. There are times when workloads can get intense like any company, but there are SO many peers and leaders willing to step in to help out even when it's outside their scope of work. While Maritz is a family owned privately held business, they understand that work is NOT your family and that it's a means to an end. I'm given the opportunity to have a work life balance but at the same time I have people that genuinely care about my health and well being when times are tough. The work is meaningful, the connections I have made are long lasting, and the transparency of the company is something I haven't experienced in my 10 year career. I can honestly say this is one of the best companies I've worked for. People truly care about you. At the end of the day there are business decisions that have to be made at times, but it's done with empathy and care. I have trust and respect from people regardless of their title, from our CEO to SVPs which is not common. There are no barriers and people are actually humans here. It's incredible to say the least.
Cons
Don't get me wrong, not everything is perfect. No company is. But I can honestly say that Maritz goes above and beyond to do the right thing. Workloads can get demanding sometimes, but teams are willing to support. There are always a few bad apples at companies, but the majority of the good outweigh the few.
