Pros
The organization is fairly flexible about allowing employees time off to attend to their personal lives and demands outside the office. The benefits are good, especially in a down economy; health care and 401k plans are still provided to all full-time employees. There are a lot of smart people hidden in the cubicles here.
Cons
There are a lot of smart people, hidden in the cubicles, and very few superstars. The creativity and energy seems to have dissipated from this place - but if you have a ton of it to spare, you might be able to effect a change in this sad corporate culture. Many corners of this company feel like a throwback to the corporate cultures of the '70's - strong old boy system, lots of all-male golf foursome photos hanging on executives' walls, very few women at the top. Nothing "new" or growing here.
