Pros

It is refreshing to work for a company that encourages growth within. With the numerous training opportunities and friendly competitions between communities, there is no reason to be stagnant. When looking for positions to fill, they take into consideration consistency of excelling performance. Many employees are under the impression that you have to be best friends with the executive team, but I am a perfect example that your hard work will get you far with the right attitude.

Cons

There needs to be more consistency, not only on property level, but corporate as well. For example, it is great to receive feedback, but if it is inconsistently sent out, it is easy to miss the opportunity to encourage an employees great achievements. I know that on property level, we are working on consistency between communities by implementing training classes on everyday tasks. This makes it a smoother transition when either filling in or transferring to another community.

Pros

- Beautiful communities - Great training opportunities - Competitive pay

Cons

- Upper management does not give transparent feedback - Upper management will ask you to coach struggling team member's, but not support you when the team member's complain about being coached - Inconsistent internal hiring processes - Guiding principles are weaponized to justify shady HR practices - There are known corporate team members, that if you get on their "bad side" you will not be treated fairly
