Pros
Good work-life balance. Peaceful work environment. Friendly atmosphere and work culture. Management is great and generally allows employees to be self-directed. Employees are happy, and there is a sense of shared accomplishment for meeting goals set by senior management.
Cons
Opportunities for professional growth on the job can be hard to come by, but they're there. Career advancement is slow, but likely if you perform well. Be clear on expectations and gain as many skills as possible to increase your value to the company. Some of IT is outsourced and could be better, but the company is taking steps to make improvements there.
