      Pros

      Very nice coworkers who are eager to help each other. People do take the Markel Style seriously. Interesting work. Great work/life balance. Seems to have a long-term commitment to hybrid work arrangements.

      Cons

      Pay is below market (I left for a 50% pay increase). Every year it becomes more difficult to achieve the target bonus because of the company performance modifier. Lots of Fox News watchers who let their media diet inform their views of risk and DEI. Senior management is very much an old boys' network.
