Fun environment to work in; new technology; good benefits; liberal policies

Cons

Once the venture capitalists took over, it started to suck. The ended 401k matching, cut back on insurance and cut cost and corners any way they could. Capped raises for top performers at 3% and didn't give any COLA raises. Introduced a review system that pitted one employee against another.

recruited from a good job to work for more money and a "great" company that was the leader in broadcasting technology. After successfully bringing multiple clients onboard, getting thanks and cudos from the owner and many atta-boy emails, I was laid off with no warning because of 'budget cuts". Reduction, twice in the same year. never again
