Pros
Compensation was fair. Weekly benefits, exception of PTO, were better than most companies.
Cons
The culture is very wrong for acquisitions of smaller “mom and pop” companies. Their integration process after acquisition is not very strong and doesn’t offer much support after the first few weeks. They are owned by a larger equity company that has little interest in the industry and leans heavily on high profit margins which seems to interfere with day to day goals. As a matter of opinion, their employee structure does not support the older group of employees and seemingly is very close to age discrimination. I was very unsettled with the over saturation of bonus programs that were always diluted over time. I believe that the company has a very good idea of what they want to be, but they don’t navigate employee relations very well to meet those goals. Like most corporations, this company has a tendency to reward high level staff at the expense of the employees who have their boots on the ground.
