Pros

Great benefits and dealing with people. The schedules are designed to fit just about every employees personal life and can be adjusted if needed to under the right circumstances. The opportunities to advance up the ladder are very good and if given the right chance, can be done in a reasonable amount of time after starting there.

Cons

The work hours can be grueling if appointed to an overnight shift and at that time the customers can be a bit hard to handle. The employees that work there are all great people to work with and management shows a great deal of consideration for their employees and the overall work enviroment of the business.

Pros

Cafeteria offers good food for a low price. Marriott discounts at other hotels

Cons

The favoritism of employees is backed by corporate. If someone has been working here longer than you, they get to pick and choose what shifts they want. If there is an open shift they also first get to choose whether they want it or not. Lastly if there are cuts, they get to choose if they want to stay or leave before others. The favoritism doesnt stop there. The managers also make them do less sidework, and give them good sections where as new employees are the bottom of the barrel in all aspects. Honestly horrible experience. They dont care about your well being either. Im scheduled opening and closing shifts consecutively which means I get under 4 hours of sleep between shifts. Sleep deprivation is not a joke; do not recommend.
