Pros

Marriott is a great place to work because of Bill Marriott's philosophy "if you take care of the associates the associates will take care of the guests", this is why Marriott International ranks very high in Guest Satisfaction. Marriott's benefits package is second to none. Marriott believes in having a diverse workforce. The opportunity for career advancement within the organization are excellent. There is an excellent balance between work and life when it comes to the scheduling aspect of the company.

Cons

More money should be allocated to updating some of the older locations. They could pay middle management more money.

Not a ton of flexibility in the schedule but with advanced noticed things work out well.

Pros

Free meal, great management team that genuinely cares about the employes.

Cons

Employee parking is a daily struggle with no real solution in sight. Traffic in/off the island is just as bad. Co-workers are hit/miss. Some care and truly want to do their part, others just there for a temporary paycheck. A lot of turnover with new faces weekly.
