Pros

You are not contained to just one department. Being a small hotel, if any other department is busy, you can always offer help and the best is, people do it on their own. The GM is extremely creative in his work, thinks out of the box, very friendly with staff, and always has time to listen to you. This hotel works like a family. Job satisfaction is extremely high. They even offer home drop services to employees, and the other usual Marriott benefits like discounts.

Pros

great company, great team, hours are flexible and the team is great. a lot of room to make money

Cons

strict on their callout policy. sometimes you need coverage and team members aren't willing to cover for you and you are left with dealing with the write ups. Hard to move up unless you are favorited

Pros

Free meal, great management team that genuinely cares about the employes.

Cons

Employee parking is a daily struggle with no real solution in sight. Traffic in/off the island is just as bad. Co-workers are hit/miss. Some care and truly want to do their part, others just there for a temporary paycheck. A lot of turnover with new faces weekly.
