Pros

Hotel discounts are nice (subject to availability), flexible schedules for students (but you have to work a weekend day regardless), really good 4 weeks of training. Opportunity to earn PTO (but you're lucky if you ever get to use it). Company offers health insurance benefits, 401K, etc. Ability to enroll in Marriott Employee Federal Credit Union. Opportunity to work from home after 90 days. A good company if it is for you.

Cons

Not enough pay for the 100+ calls you take per day. Training staff and "leads" are new to the company and have not had sufficient experience on the sales floor to offer any truly valuable information. Company doesn't hire from within often. If you are interested in career progression and they offer it to you during your first couple of weeks go for it because chances are you will mess up with your adherence (weekly average of attendance) since it is very difficult to get time off (so you have to make your own!) The rotating schedules are also annoying but I guess are made in an attempt to offer some kind of sense of fairness. A good job if you are dedicating your life to sales. They also constantly bug you for overtime.

Pros

Cafeteria offers good food for a low price. Marriott discounts at other hotels

Cons

The favoritism of employees is backed by corporate. If someone has been working here longer than you, they get to pick and choose what shifts they want. If there is an open shift they also first get to choose whether they want it or not. Lastly if there are cuts, they get to choose if they want to stay or leave before others. The favoritism doesnt stop there. The managers also make them do less sidework, and give them good sections where as new employees are the bottom of the barrel in all aspects. Honestly horrible experience. They dont care about your well being either. Im scheduled opening and closing shifts consecutively which means I get under 4 hours of sleep between shifts. Sleep deprivation is not a joke; do not recommend.
