      Pros

      Plenty of development opportunities - both in terms of formal learning as well as projects, job changes etc. A lot of effort goes into talent development.

      Cons

      The originally good intent of preserving culture and putting focus on people development results with too much process and too much attention people put to what is their next role and how they need to position themselves, vs focusing on doing a good job. Such behaviors are driving politics and games.

      Work Life Balance, Dog Friendly, Inclusion, and overall excellent atmosphere. I am blown away at the communication and willingness to help raise up employees.

      Must have drive, and be a self starter.

      Pros

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

      Cons

      None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
