      Pros

      - People are friendly and kind - Internal mobility is encouraged and is very seamless, no in-fighting over people moving from one department to another - Work/life balance is good, most managers encourage associates to take time off and ensure that the balance is good

      Cons

      - The org overall is very resistant to change. This is beginning to change now with a lot of new leadership from outside Mars but the business has years of work to catch up to competitors - If you've been at Mars for a while, pay is not competitive - Decision making is painstakingly slow and any decisions made are often re-litigated which is exhausting and contributes to moving at a slow pace

      Pros

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

      Cons

      None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
