      Pros

      Amazing company filled with amazing people all over the country. Amazing benefits and experiences for once a year conference. Pay range can be low if not negotiated. The actual job is merchandising with a touch of sales (though they aim for more).

      Cons

      Leadership that remains are those who were apart of the restructure. Not all people leaders are experienced in leading people. Mars people leader framework is keen on micromanaging while also lacking experience to actually lead people. There could be way more intellectual capacity leveraged from their workforce but the company is so far behind on current practices for developing their people. Main issues are management.

      Pros

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

      None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
