Pros
Overall, I quite enjoy working at marshalls. As a student, they are very accommodating with your availability and still give out a good amount of shifts every week. The workload is always very manageable and my managers in particular were extremely nice and respectful to everyone. They’re is always something to do here so you will never bored. My managers left me alone 99% of time the time and hardly check up on you, I was able to complete my duties in peace and never felt rushed.
Cons
A lot of the time the managers had conflicting opinions. I would be doing a task x y and z that was assigned to me by one manager but I knew that once another manager comes, they’ll be upset about me doing x y and z. Also, the store was usually understaffed, with 1 person covering half the store and long line ups because there were no cashiers, this definitely adds on to extra workload on closing time. And lastly, training here is NOT good. I got a general run down on how things worked but I was basically thrown into jobs and how to figure out things myself.
