Pros

Coworkers are usually the best part. 10% off merchandise, 20% off during special weekends. Can be an easy job if you work very little hours and don’t plan on staying for long. If you want to move up and make this a career, there’s plenty of opportunities if you are willing to give up your personal life and move wherever they need managers.

Cons

Management is an absolute nightmare. If you aren’t a minor or have another full time job then expect to get very long shifts, scheduled more than 5 days in a row, closing shifts followed by opening shifts regularly, and expected to drop everything at all times to cover whatever needs to be covered wherever in the store because most associates are seen as just a body to use to keep things running. If you become a coordinator expect to be held to high expectations for little reward. If you get cashier trained you will be expected to sell a credit card and you CANNOT take no for an answer.
