Pros
The company is stable, so in an environment where there is instability within the industry, you can be safe in knowing if you do your job, you have a job. The work environment is like most trucking companies. Occasionally you encounter a tough personality, but for the most part people are easy to work with. Year over year, you will get a raise, so as long as you can sit and wait, you will eventually get pretty decent pay.
Cons
Zero room for advancement. Promotion is not based on merit, but instead based on favoritism or who can sit and wait the longest. There are so many low performers who have been in positions for years doing the bare minimum it creates an atmosphere where you get trapped. So if you are a career oriented go-getter, this is not the place for you. This is where your career will go to die. You are looking at a 9-10 year wait before you get a promotion unless you get lucky and someone SR to you jumps ship and they are forced to move you up.
