Pros

* Pay is at market rate. * Unlimited vacation but you will not have time to take it. Some times, your manager can deny your vacation request. * If you can work over time for a long time without much vacation, then, this job is for you.

Cons

* A lot of over time, odd hours, and unplanned work. I was burned out in a year. Meeting time from 7:30am PST (with US customers), and ended at 11pm PST (with India team). One employee is doing 3 employees worth of work to save cost. That's why stock is higher but at the cost of employees' time. * A lot of product issues, engineering don't resolve them quickly. Customers were unhappy and put a lot of stress on me. * 95% engineering team is in India so there are mandatory night time meetings with Project Management, Product Management, Customer Issues, and even All-hands are all happening between 8pm PST to 11pm PST. * With unlimited vacation, you don't get to take it since you have a lot of unplanned work/issue. When I left Marvell, I had no PTO balance to cash out. For the 2 years I was here (between 2018-2020), I took less than one week of vacation. * There will be no job/product training; they expect you to train yourself with this complicated HSM product. It took me 9 months to understand 70% of the product.

Pros

-high impact work, high visibility, hyped field (AI Infra) -most teams don't have daily standups like traditional software companies, less useless meetings -insanely smart employees -5 days office but management is very lenient; any small reason to wfh is perfectly fine -feels good to be here

Cons

pay could be better if compared to the big leagues like nvidia and broadcom
