Pros

The pay is decent for the area.

Cons

If your supervisor get units produced the upper management does not care what it cost. They will look the other way and ignore their bad behavior. It doesnt matter if that supervisors behavior is raciest, homophobic, or what. You will be made out to be the problem if you file any kind of complaint against a supervisor that upper management knows gets units out the door. They always talk about living the company values but in my time with the company I can honestly say none of the management team even knows the definitions to their values or how to live by them.

Pros

Fantastic! Work-life balance was great.

Cons

Upper level management could be wishy-washy on decision making.

Pros

Good benefits, company values, and employees are considered when big decisions are made. There's opportunities for labor share and travel to other locations. It is family owned and while we don't see them often, they make you feel seen and that you matter. There's a nurse who is easy to talk to and actually cares. There have been a lot of changes in HR but its for the better. Lots of opportunities to learn new things and grow. We also got a new parking lot which was much needed since the plant has grown.

Cons

Mandatory overtime on Saturdays, but has gotten better. Not much visibility from the safety department on second and third shift unless its early afternoon on second shift - or - the last couple hours on third shift. There's four safety specialists here and they all mostly work during business hours, so unless you catch them before they leave its difficult to address anything. There's a safety committee but it can be difficult to get an actual person from the safety department because of their working hours.
